Anyone have any good suggestions on where to buy my clothing now.Internet shops,boutiques? Sizing for clothes,shoes,etc.My wife is unsure of sizing for me.I know there was a member post on this but could not find it.Any help from my friends here?

 

This is such a happy time for me.The sizing is what I am lost over.I have small feet,so help for the heels would be awsome.I need to maybe check out forums to.They say one to two sizes up.

 

I like Goodwill myself, and LaneBryant. My wife is supportive and goes with me and loves to watch the faces of the girls we ask about a fitting room. For shoes, a woman's shoe size is 2 sizes bigger than a man's corresponding size, ie. a woman's size 11 is a men's size 9. If you have feet bigger than a men's size 10, you're going to have a hard time finding women's shoes to fit. Your best bet is to go with an online store like Zappos that has free returns.

Women's clothing sizes can be all over the map, but most websites include size charts that include bust (chest), waist and hip measurements. Keep in mind that if you wear a padded bra, you need to measure yourself with the bra and any padding. Unless you're a small man, don't overlook plus size clothes. They may be your best bet. I like Torrid and SimplyBe for larger sizes that are still cute and sexy.

Women's sizes are generally a couple of inches smaller in the bust than the hips, whereas men's chest is usually their biggest measurement so you may get a better fit with separates - shirts and skirts - rather than dresses.

I'm sure there are sites that cater to cross dressers, but they're probably more expensive.

 

as i am a bit bigger i have gone to lane bryant and tried things on. When I was married to my last wife we found a cd friendly shop to go to. Otherwise I just go to wally world and buy things.; Lane bryant i have found is pretty good about it if you are respectful
