  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

But the small ten acre farm and smaller are not the ones doing the complaining on CNN. An all the rest of the propaganda news stations and papers .
There not the ones that make news. GET IT . It's the corporate farms that there talking about. That's Why it's so ridiculous that you people get so upset. The government and newspapers could give a shit less whether you make it or I make it order small farmer makes it. What you should be mad at is the fact that our tax money pays these douche bag farms . As for the small farm they get plenty of breaks to. Ask Bon Jovi

wow it appears that you are a fucking coolaid drinking red spined bullshit buyer
do yo even know how much is handed to corporate farms every year?????
62 cents per dollar is paid out on farm and crop insurance
at a coverage of only 85% of the total crop
the rest falls under livestock insurance
do you even know the difference between a soy bean and a pig?

do you know bout the law passed in 2000 that shielded subsidy recipients from public disclosure?>
what do you know about the so called hamburger laws?
can you name any one of the 3000 people each year that die due to tainted food?
how about the 100,000 that are hospitalized every year?
or the 48 million that are sickened by it?

what about the 1100 inspectors that only inspect about 6% of all agricultural products??????????

In August 2011, for instance, 33 people died from eating cantaloupe contaminated with listeria bacteria. The melons had been grown and processed at a Colorado farm that had passed an inspection by a private company with flying colors.

The inspector, a 26-year-old with little experience, raised no objections to the absence of an antimicrobial wash to clean the melons. Nor did the inspector bother to test for bacteria on equipment that handled the melons. He granted the farm a “superior” rating.

and what about imported foods which the US has no fucking control over?

keep acting like you know shit cause ill prove you to be a puppet every fucking time dumb ass

The newspaper that I use to document my assertions that the job market and the stock market usually perform better under Democrat presidents than Republican presidents is The Wall Street Journal.

    https://blogs.wsj.com/economics/2009/01/09/bush-on-jobs-the-worst-track-record-on-record/

    *not_secure_link*blogs.wsj.com/marketbeat/2012/11/06/what-an-obama-win-may-mean-for-stocks/

I am not sure if you have ever heard of The Wall Street Journal. Your posts do not give evidence of an intimate familiarity with the written word. Nevertheless, The Wall Street Journal is the leading Republican newspaper in the United States.

You do know that the Republican Party is the major conservative party in the United States, don't you?

So what are you invested in DL?

    Preferred Stocks
    Common Stocks
    Growth Stocks
    Value Stocks

Huh? You like bluechipstock? Oil/energy futures? Index funds? Tech stocks have made people a lot of money the last 20 years.

A man who reads the WSJ as much as you must have some good stock tips to give.

    Care to share?

No one can predict the stock market. At the end of the Second World War an economist at Princeton took lists of recommended stock purchases of several investment advisers. Then he chose an equal number of stocks purely by chance.

Twenty years later the stocks he choose by chance did as well as the stocks chosen by the presumed experts.

A neighbor of mine bought some stock in Microsoft in about 1980. The stock did not go anywhere. Her adviser told her to sell it. She did. If she had kept it she would be a millionaire now.

In the early 1980's that was good advice. A personal computer was a rich man's toy. About the only thing one could do with one was word processing, and learn how to code Basic, Pascal, and C. COBOL was still dominant in business processing. It required a compiler that was too large for the personal computers back then.

The C programming language was coming into use. However, a professional C programmer would code it in a UNIX environment. Personal computers used MS Dos.

To do word processing on a personal computer one needed to buy a personal computer, a letter quality printer, and word processing software. This would cost about $10,000. For about $700 one could buy a word processor that did nothing but work processing.

The internet had been invented in 1969. No, Al Gore never claimed that he invented it. However, during the early 1980's, few people knew about the internet. Few websites were on it.

The big three automakers were once considered to be "blue chip" stocks. They are not any more.

I usually disagree with Wall Street Journal editorials. Nevertheless, I trust the integrity of the newspaper, as you should trust the integrity of The New York Times and The Washington Post. These are among the most respected newspapers in the English language. If one makes a factual assertion you can be virtually certain that it is correct. If one makes a mistake the newspaper will print a retraction.

Well, not quite. Microsoft went public in March, 1986 with an opening price of $21. By the end of the day, it was going for over $35 and was one of the (for the time) more successful IPOS. If one had bought 100 shares of stock when it went public, by 1999 they would have had about 28,000 shares with a value of $1.4 Million. From the IPO date through 1999 the stock never had a meaningful losing streak, and never dropped below it's IPO price until 2008.

Shooter knows this in large part because he got a call from a stock broker touting this Washington company that made programs for personal computers, and Shooter really needed to jump into it with both feet. Shooter hung up on the guy. Damnit!

Perhaps Distant Lover is thinking Apple? It went public in 1980 at $22 a share, but didn't really take off until 30 years later.

The same stock broker tried to get Shooter to buy in on this company that "had a mouse thingy" that meant you didn't even have to know how to type to run a computer". This was a few years before Microsoft went public, maybe 1984, and when Shooter looked at the history of Apple, told the guy to take a hike. It explains in part why Shooter dumped on the broker when he talked about Microsoft.

You're probably right about the dates. I am right about personal computers not being essential in the early 1980's, and about my neighbor selling her stock before it became really valuable.

If I read right Mark Zuckerberg lost $15.9 billion today (not related to this thread maybe, but unsure) and I'm questioning and re-evaluating my life and where I went wrong because if I were to lose even lose $5.00 in one day I would be looking for it for several days. Some people have to much money and certainly I will never be one of them. I think.

We have all had life experiences. It is good to learn from life experiences, but unwise to generalize from them.
